Exploring Philadelphia During HR PharmaCon

If you’ll be attending CBI’s HR PharmaCon in Philadelphia, P.A. on September 27th, 28th, and 29th, there are plenty of places to visit while you’re in town.

Hang by the beautiful Delaware River -- Lounge in a hammock at Spruce Street Harbor Park (grab a snack on a floating barge while you’re there), try roller skating at Bluecross RiverRink on the banks of the river, or watch the sunset on the Race Street Pier located in the shadow of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge.

Tour a brewery -- There’s several to choose from, including 2nd Story Brewing and Yards Brewing. Additionally, Stateside Vodka offers distillery tours and custom cocktails with a panoramic view of the distillery. If Beer Gardens are more you’re style, you’re in luck. Check out Frankford Hall or Uptown Beer Garden for example.

Take a haunted tour -- The now 300-year-old founding father Benjamin Franklin is said to still haunt Philadelphia. Candlelit walking tours show you the haunted spots of the city. If you’re feeling really brave, take a Terror Behind the Walls tour at Eastern State Penitentiary.

For a calmer night, dining and shopping might suffice -- On the 29th, State Street will be closed to traffic for the 9th annual Dining Under the Stars, the perfect opportunity to dine and shop.

However you choose to spend your time in Philadelphia, look for TSP at CBI's HR PharmaCon-- We’ll see you there!
