“Without TSP and their incredible recruiters, I would not have my dream career.”

At TSP, we live and breathe our motto of #powerofpersonal. One of the reasons I truly appreciate our firm is that our recruiters genuinely connect and care about our clients and candidates.

Below is a message from one of our clients, Hannah Barden, who I had the privilege of working with earlier this year. I enjoyed getting to know her over the course of the recruitment process and was thrilled to learn the feeling was mutual.

Without TSP and their incredible recruiters, I would not have my dream career as a territory manager at Egalet. I strongly believe any recruiter can learn from TSP – and my story shows the incredible ways a personal focus can create a great recruitment experience.

My relationship with TSP began after learning in December 2016 that my employer was dissolving their entire pain business unit, where I worked as a specialty sales representative. I knew very well that a career as a pharmaceutical sales rep comes with uncertainty for the future, little to no job security, and the very real and scary possibility of downsizing. And there I was, along with the rest of my team, beginning the daunting task of finding a new position.

As if the downsizing wasn’t stressful enough, dealing with recruiters brought along its own challenges and disappointments. Fortunately, I got in touch with Taylor Strategy Partners. I’ve dealt with a fair share of recruiters during my time in the pharmaceutical industry, but no experience stands out more than my time working with TSP.

TSP saw the potential I had and my passion for helping pain patients. When talking to me, they focused on me as an individual. They really got to know me on a personal level to understand who I am and how well I would mesh with the role they are looking to fill.

TSP fully prepared me for what to expect during each stage of the interview process. Not only did Lindsey, my recruiter, prepare me for the questions that were going to be asked, she helped paint a picture of each interviewer so I understood who they were as people.

Not only are TSP recruiters incredibly personable, they are very easy to contact. Nothing is more frustrating than having to wait days or even weeks to hear back from recruiters. TSP was instantaneous with their communication, whether that was by phone call, text, or email. I was never left waiting, and I appreciated that. My recruiter still checks in to see how I’m doing in my new position.

I would recommend any recruiter to take lessons from my experience with TSP. The power of getting to know candidates, on both a professional and personal level, is the key to finding the best candidates. That’s why they do an exceptional job finding the perfect candidates for a given role. TSP has an undeniable devotion to building strong, lasting relationships with their candidates, and it really shows.

TSP set an exemplary example of what other recruiting firms should strive for, and I am fortunate I had the opportunity to work with them.
